At “Siglensâl” the puppies are born in the house so they can get used to everyday sounds (voices, radio, vacuum cleaner, etc…).They also learn how to interact with people & deal with meeting strangers.

Studies have shown that puppies who have above mentioned experiences from a very young age are better socialized later in life than those who have not experienced any of this until they go home with their new owner.

At around the age of three weeks our puppies are given the opportunity to explore outside the house (depending on the weather). They can get used to different smells, sounds and to other dogs in their immediate surroundings. They can enjoy the daylight, the sunshine and the fresh air. They will benefit from this later in life and become more socialized.

It goes without saying that the right upbringing is an important part of the development of your pup, to prepare them for their life as an adult dog. It is a long road which you must travel but if done correctly your dog will grow into a healthy companion. In other words a dog which meets your expectations.

Raising your puppy correctly does not just mean feeding your dog the prescribed, good quality food. You must also handle your dog in the right manner.

There is an English saying which goes as follows:
“Half the breeding is in the feeding”

New puppy owners are sent home with clear instructions about feeding, worming, training, clubs they can join, registration, etc… We also give a guarantee for diseases and/or hereditary problems in accordance with the law on ‘sale of dogs’ act 1997. This agreement creates a bond of trust between us and the new Boerboel owners.

At 4 weeks: Intrac Canis
At 6 weeks: Nobivac puppy dp; Microchipped & DNA blood sampled
At 9 weeks: Vanguard da2pi Cpv Lepto

Our method of vaccination gives you and your puppy the opportunity to take part in puppy classes in a dog school (after the final course at 12 weeks) where they come in contact with other dogs. If you follow our schedule the risks of contracting diseases is reduced.
